Have you ever had difficulty uncovering shared match groups in your DNA results? At our May presentation Jennifer Roodzant will explain shared match clustering, why it helps DNA research, and how it’s done. She will give an overview of third-party tools for clustering matches and show examples from MyHeritage, Genetic Affairs, and GEDmatch. Jennifer will present methods for clustering shared matches quickly and efficiently. You will leave this presentation with a toolkit for clustering your shared matches into genetic networks to identify the most recent common ancestors.

About the speaker: About the speaker: Jennifer Roodzant is a professional genealogist and speaker specializing in DNA and southern United States research. She volunteers as secretary for the Napa Valley Genealogical Society and is a certificate holder in Genealogical Research from Boston University and ProGen Study Groups. Jennifer applies the Genealogical Proof Standard to resolve complex research objectives.
